When there are two teams playing and I don't particularly support either one of them, I arbitrarily pick one to root for to make the game more exciting to watch. I'm not going to bother recovering the statistics, but more often than not, the team I choose is the one that loses. (I got it right last year, though!) It would be good not to rely on me to make your bets in Las Vegas.
This year, I went with the Falcons, and if you saw the game, you might have thought I made the right choice up until the third quarter. I noticed on Twitter that they had something like an 86% chance of winning at that point. I wonder if the person who made that tweet also predicted the presidential election.
Then came the most epic comeback or the most epic crash and burn in Super Bowl history, depending on how you look at it. Another year of picking the wrong team for me. Will my losing streak continue next year? Only time will tell.
